Shane P. Hennessy, DO, is a 2014-graduate of Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. His postgraduate training includes his family medicine residency served at UPMC Shadyside Family Health Center (2014-2017), as well as his sports medicine fellowship performed at UPMC Sports Medicine (2017-2019). Dr. Hennessy completed his undergraduate education in neuroscience and psychology at Allegheny College. He attained board certification in family medicine and sports medicine with the American Osteopathic Board of family Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
